A petite antique Edwardian Suffragette pendant twisted into the shape of a heart with a three-leaf clover in the centre. The clover features two Amethyst petals and one Peridot with a Diamond crowned on top.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which were chosen to counter the masculine women’s rights stereotypes put forward by opponents. Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!
The piece is modelled in 9ct Yellow Gold and is very pretty. It would look lovely on a Gold chain.
We recommend you insure for £850, We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
